A fire at a lithium battery factory south of Seoul​ on Monday killed at least nine workers and left 15 others missing, officials said.

​Officials feared that the toll from the blaze, one of the deadliest in South Korea in recent years, would rise as rescuers began searching the building. ​Two workers were hospitalized with serious injuries.
